Post subject: | Common Question |
I didn't see a "general" forum here so I thought I would just ask it here... Yes, I must bring up the question regarding train symbols again. I'm sure for many of you this question gets old but I am growing tired of leaving the "symbol" information on the majority of my photos blank. On my personal website and Railpictures.net I would love to be able to list the correct symbols. I'm sure once I start learning them, leaving the symbol part of the picture will become a much more rare occurrence. Basically I'm looking for BNSF, CP, and UP symbols, particullary for trains that often travel past Dayton's Bluff/Pig's Eye since that is where most of my railfanning of recent has been (aprox. 3.3 miles from where I now call home). Any help would be much apprecaited. Patience with me is also a plus! Thanks everyone! |

I could give you a complete list of currently running trains, but it wouldn't do you much good because you wouldn't be able to tell know which is which. When I was spending some time in that area I always had the East Hump on as that dispatcher usually at some point says the train symbol along and engine number. Listening to St. Paul yard is almost a guaranteed train number for any road train in the area. What a way to spend a Sat. night, huh? |
