None were leading, haven't seen that in quite some time now... They were running as second or third units. Haven't seen any SD9s on the Wayzata sub at all this summer even though I'm spending a good amount of time on it now. Last summer we'd see the NTWWLM trains with them on a regular basis but unless they run at night now [we don't get train symbols on the radio at the work zone, just lead unit numbers] I've not seen any... Either way, nice to see them out on the road again. Have to wonder what the crew thought when they saw what they were leading with on the SD9 leading... |

Ever since the flooding around LaCrosse Northtown is almost constantly behind in building trains. Only about once a week does the NTWWLM get out on time (1800). Normally is out of Northtown between 2000 and 0001 and sometimes as late as 0500. It isn't all bad though because the NTWKCK, which is scheduled for a 0600 departure, often doesn't leave until the early afternoon. This train can have some strange consists. |
