There is a work train that has been placing ties along the right of way from Coon Creek to Cambridge all week. I don't know how far north they are going but I am assuming to Grasston. based on the number of ties I am pretty sure it is going to be a 100% tie replacement so if ya want to get some MOW shots prolly next week sometime, Illl keep ya updated.

FYI:::::

Starting June 28th, they will be laying about 30,000 ties between MP 72 and 92 on the Hinckley Sub. I'm sure we'll have a few work trains out there, and some trains delayed.

Next year at this time, they will be doing another 44,000 ties between MP 42 and 72.

Wow, that's a lot of ties. I've heard rumblings that the Marshall is getting some attention as well. The Wayzata is riddled with slow orders, some at 25mph, but I've seen no evidence of any major projects planned.

I've heard from some that the Hinckley Sub traffic has been picking up, can anyone confirm or deny this? If it has, what additional trains have been running there? I know of the local, NTWSUP/SUPNTW, MADALL/ALLMAD, some coal, tac, any others? CP and UP are still running at night right? I'm thinking of heading over to Cambridge sometime to railfan, I'm in Princeton, MN. I haven't been over there since the winter time, so hoping to head over there sometime to get something other than what I've seen of late on the Staples Sub.

Well the Braham spy is no longer in Braham, I moved to Fargo in April. Llast I knew the CP manifest's were running as needed so who knows when that is. the grain might pick up a lil with the lake open now but not a whole lot of grain moves by rail until July or August.

The north and south bound CP trains go to work at 1900 and 1800 respectively. Extra grain trains (378/376/391 Northbound - 377/381/396 Southbound) run on a as needed basis.
