Two items of note (or question): 8/14, I saw light power leave NTW for STP to lead the Q-STP Ft. Madison. What is the 3 letter identifier for Ft. Madison (IA?)? And, yesterday, I shot a loaded grain train identified as G-SUPFUR. Where is FUR. |

Ft. Madison, IA is FTM. FUR doesn't seem to be in the code listings that I can see. I'm sure someone out there can dig it up. |

I caught it at Interstate about 0930, but didn't hear it on the scanner in approach to NTW. Lead was BNSF 745 with 4143. Then I zipped down to the T-Yard for other trains when I saw the tail end after a mainline crew switch. I heard the DS identify it as S-U-P-F-U-R while giving instructions to hold at Talmadge. It is totally possible I miss heard the conversation, as I waited for the STPTAC, only to realize it was the LPCTAC later. |

Also, what was up with STCSJO? I never saw it but I believe there was a power switch prior to it leaving. While I am at it, "Operations" was talking to the "one-day-only." Is this a yard job? |

If you guys have train requests, I can only find it by locomotive, not by train symbol. You probably know a grain train has 600 other counterparts in the system, and hard to distinguish. Reroutes can happen at any time. |

Aaron, I know what your talking about with the KCKNTW-NTWKCK ordeals. It really messes my up when Im waiting for something, only to find out its not the same train. I do like how on occasion you'll hear "Memphis, your 99", instead of saying NTWMEM. Alec |
