All, Last friday night I saw something I hadn't seen in a bit. At the head end of a manifest train in Trempealeau, WI going east on the BNSF. The first 3-4 cars were Boeing Fuselage boxes and a rack type car for hauling 737 fuselages. All appeared to be empty(as much as I could see anyway) It's been a long time since I've seen these out here. I can't remember the name of the the train(xxx-TUL or xxx-HOU with xxx=PAS maybe?). Just wondered if this was some of that traffic moving on the Wayzata sub? My guess is that it likely is because of congestion out in the coalfields, and the BNSF HAS run some strange re routes as of late (Keddie Wye reroutes, etc) Likely was in the cities just about sunset, Friday. Just wondered if any else saw it, or it was just my imagination. Iowadave |

I know that the J-WICINB was prowling the rails yesterday however that was a loaded Boeing train heading west, so not the one you saw. Maybe heading to pickup componet parts for a later train. |
