Hello, I caught a westbound BNSF freight train this evening coming through Elk River with a BNSF ES44DC, a BNSF SD40-2, and Norfolk Southern's SD40-2 painted for Maresk Sealand! I didn't have a camera with, as I was running into town for something else, but it certainly made my day

You to cool, I got him when he was pulling in to NTW this afternoon, however he was with BNSF SD60M 128 as the leader. It was the H-GALGFD at that time. |

I was staying at the Inn on the River in Trempealeau and had just stepped out of the shower when it went by the a.m.. Not exactly ready to snap a quick pic., said more than a few bad words about that!....and then I really wanted to give a heads up, but had no IP connectivity. Darn, now I can justifiy having one for the layout and that means another paint project.... Also saw an ex Santa Fe 8-40cw repainted to H3 wedgie #882. Lotsa BNSF ES44dc's and an BNSF ES44ac on the CSX-PAS. Caught a FerroMex engine in the dark last week there as well. Lotsa intersting stuff out and about! |
