I found some of these today while digging around in some photo albums. they're scans of some 35mm pics. I didn't take them as I was only 5 at the time. Ironicaly the U.P. put about 50 coal cars on the ground in this EXACT same spot 5 years ago and just on mile north on the other end of the siding the BN put about 20 loaded tac cars on the ground last year. 2-10-05. I didn't get any pics of either though.

 now I feel dumb.....thats the derailment from last year. I don't know why mine didn't work. I will try it again. some of those tac cars sat there for almost two weeks..... the road was closed for a day or two also.

I hate it when that happens, I would hate to have to clean that up. FYI Minor derailment at NTW Saturday morning, about 6 cars slipped on the north runner quick repairs and re-railing by the BNSF MoW crew. |
