I, the one who probably railfans BNSF the least out of all of us looks to have won the race to the ACe. Went to Fridley today, caught my second swish SD40-2, 6888 i think, and this little girl on the coal train. Those horns sound so nice. Alec |

I found the same train on the way back to the mines. This photo was taken just outside of Willmar on Sunday night. http://www.morris.umn.edu/~vandenbm/acecorner.html And I'd have to agree, what a great whistle on these things! |

I guess wind resistance was not a concern! From Mike's photo, it looks like Pine Wood Derby cars have more aerodynamics. What was going on this weekend, traffic wise? I was out Sat and Sun and nearly got shut out. |
