| Post subject: | Snoot nose units |
I have looked up a couple of units on my roster on RP.net and they are snoot nose units, most of the time I dont notice this as they wiz by. is there any rhyme or reason for the snoot nose and is there anywhere that tells me what ones are??? |

Unless I am wrong, most of the units one will see around here are ex-SF units. They had extended noses (short hoods) to allow radio equipment placement. To go further, I think the "radio equipment" was remote control stuff. |
