I heard the DS talking a few weeks ago about them and I heard my first new one last nite. whole new number system, the boxes are different, and its called "Track Athurity" not a track warrant any more. anyone else heard them yet?? |

I have not heard one yet, but the guys on the Northern Minnesota site have quite a lot of details on it. |

A track Authority is given to track personal who need to be on/near the tracks to inspect or work. You should hear the DS say something along theses line "track authority 123-1 is granted to formen firemen on track 2 bla, bla bla", where as a warrant is given to a train for movement along a section of track. |

I don't think the boxes have changed. A box 2 is still a "proceed from x to x" box 4 is still a work between. |

Haven't these been used in the Metro since 01/01/07? When I read about these in the Outstate Group, I thought they sounded familiar. |
