Any place I can see a train and get some pics is fine by me, in my opion both St. Paul and Minneapolis are over shot but hay when I'm not in Ames, Seattle or the Quad Cities they will due.

Nick, that's a great shot of the CP, but that shot isn't affected by the railfan blockade at Pig's Eye. Now that I look at it, is that down next to Division St. ?

I know I've used this shot here before, but this is something you'll never get in St. Paul. A shot of actual sky-scrappers, albeit only a few, but that's a few more than St. Paul!

MNNRFAN: I must admit that I am quite jealous that you shot the TCW on the BNSF St. Paul Sub. I never have and I remember that day because I was actually home but I just wasn't paying attention and by the time I saw what was going on, it was too late. At least someone got it!

is it safe to say that pic is not taken from the observation area on the bluff??? everytime I wonder over the fence I can never find an outcropping that is photo worthy, there are always trees in the way. do I have to go farther north???

Ya gotta get out near that edge fireman. Look for a memorial flower garden right across the path and your very near where I shoot from. ( Not the above photo of course)
