I realize I'm switching sides, but I wanted to follow up on something I mentioned earlier. This past Friday I finally got the TCW on the St. Paul Sub. after a long wait. I nearly missed shooting it on the Union cutoff since I was Edina shooting the 0630 MNS as they got their warrant out of Cedar Lake. It went a little something like this... I did something I rarely do and zoomed back out and got . I also shot them on Main 2 at Westminster. This shot was a bit more difficult to frame than I had originally anticipated. A telephone pole and overgrown trees made for a cramped scene and a less than desirable angle to the train. Oh well. My boss at work had owed me a favor so I decided to cash in and take Friday off since the weather was looking fantastic and I hadn't shot any trains in a while. In addition to the TCW on the St. Paul Sub, I had a very productive day shooting the TCW Commercial job, 0630 MNS, Camden Job and BNSF Grove Job at Lafarge and crossing the river which is something I've wanted for a long time. |
