Cardigan is one of those places that you go when you are bored of the city scene. It has a great feeling to it, like the SOO Line is very well alive. Heres a few of my shots from there. Now with the coal trains gone, lighting is an issue because generally during the morning there are no good photo angles, as the tracks curve North through the yard. In the evening, as stated, you can get some pretty decent shots. The 2nd shot here is only possible on an overcast day, unless you dont care if its backlit.
