In Coon Rapids is Shady Acres park. If you follow the raod all the way to the back you come right up close to I believe a single line of track. I witnessed a BNSF coal run through there but I can't say what the frequency of the traffic is there. Its a great spot to bring a chair and a travel grill to grill up some lunch. There are huge trees to shade you from the sun (hence the shady part :) and great visibilty.

That line is the Coon Creek sub and it runs to Hinckley and eventually Duluth/Superior.

That would be the Hinckley Sub that splits near Coon Creek the other is the Staples Sub, boy all this talking about subs is making me hungry :lol:
