In Coon Rapids is Shady Acres park. If you follow the raod all the way to the back you come right up close to I believe a single line of track. I witnessed a BNSF coal run through there but I can't say what the frequency of the traffic is there. Its a great spot to bring a chair and a travel grill to grill up some lunch. There are huge trees to shade you from the sun (hence the shady part  and great visibilty.

That line is the Coon Creek sub and it runs to Hinckley and eventually Duluth/Superior. |

That would be the Hinckley Sub that splits near Coon Creek the other is the Staples Sub, boy all this talking about subs is making me hungry
