Wrapping up my posting for today, here are the first three of an ongoing series of photo albums I am doing devoted to Canadian Pacific operations along the old MN&S main line --now their "MNS Spur"-- as well as PGR operations on the Hi-Line in Bloomington and away across town in Rosemount on their ex-Milwaukee Road route: Volume one Volume two Volume three Speaking of CP/PGR operations --what time of day do they usually interchange at Nesbit Siding in Bloomington? |

Before the EHH era at CP the interchange was daily between 11 and 12. With the change that have occured the interchange train from CP runs out of St Paul and is irregular. We did not get a train friday the 5th, but we got a 2 car delivery on sunday the 7th. Best bet is to listen to a scanner for CP's train. Our crew typically delivers around 10 am now, and pulls whatever inbounds are currently available and needed. |

Thanks Joe. I've noticed you guys are dropping off cuts of cars on the north side of the long-mothballed Auto Club yard like in this photo: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=3149442 Why there and not up at Nesbit? |

Ease of interchange and storage. Allows Nesbit siding to be completely free for CP to deliver cars to us and not have to make a run around move to get their outbound cars. With the TCW not running south any longer the track was available and thus a good alternative to the issues raised by the new operating plan. |
