Having grown up in Northfield, I'm very interested in what's going on there now. I have a few questions about rail operations in Northfield, along with some other questions about PGR.

- I know that PGR leases the CP track from Lakeville. Does CP still run anything to Northfield? If so, please provide some details. If not, when did CP service to Northfield stop?

- Does PGR manage the yard in Northfield now?

- Is the line to Randolf owned by PGR, or is it leased? Is it ex-CGW?

- Are any of PGR's boxcars still wearing the orange Tropicana livery?

- Would it be possible to obtain a schematic/diagram of the Northfield yard (including Malt-O-Meal)? I'm starting to get involved in N scale modeling, and an eventual goal is to do a representation of Northfield.

I asked the PGR group on Yahoo! about a track diagram, and a PGR employee sent me a track diagram - those guys are awesome.

In any case, using Google Earth and the provided diagram, I digitized the rail in Northfield. If anyone's interested in seeing the results, you can look at them through (best results, requires Google Earth to be installed), or, (poorer results, no special software needed).
