Currently sitting in Glenwood. In this picture from Matt P taken 5/14/2006, you will notice it still has the old oil rag bearing boxes. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... ?id=586610 and in this picture taken by Matt P again, on 12/27/2007, you will notice that the Bearing boxes are gone and it has the normal looking open wheel bearings. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... ?id=998104 When did the boxes disappear and when did it receive the open wheel bearings? Also of note the Footboards dissapeared, and an F appeared on the frame. I think someone has some artifacts from Soo's first diesel lying around somewhere. on edit. this pic taken 4/26/2007, The last pic of it as GWDT, it still has the bearing boxes and the footboards. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... ?id=728312 so they dissapeared sometime between May and December 2007 |

The bearings probably had to be replaced for it to get clearance to move on a Class I mainline. |
