The St. Croix Valley Railroad has taken possession of a new GP8, painted to match SCXY 1363 in the NP colors.

The 1352 is actually a GP8, a rebuilt GP7 by Paducah. It was on Iowa Interstate before coming to SCXY. It's a shame the SCXY doesn't have more track. They have (IMO) the best looking locomotives out of any railroad in MN but the 35 miles (+/-) can only be shot so much. |
