Yeah, I would say that is a safe bet. It is on the IHB in Chicago today, if all goes well I would imagine it should be here in a week or so. As for all the new units - I have no idea why all of the sudden they are getting more. Good deals, more business, probably a mix of both. All three [Amtrak, NJT, and TRRA] units came right from their last owners so I would imagine they aren't in too tough of shape. |

The ILSX 768 is to arrive in Minneapolis on the UP. Originally it was scheduled to arrive on 2/26 at 1800 but that obviously didn't happen. |

No news on the 768 but I did see the 917 at Pigs eye this evening around 19:30'ish being shoved around near the old yard office. |

Most interesting - same colors as it was last fall or has it gotten the maroon treatment? If anyone out there hears of the final destination it would be good to add with the roster updates... |

Still in the BRC paint job, the last time I caught it was in September of last year in Thief River Falls. I'm only guessing but I think it may be heading out of state for use somewhere. |

ILS has a new unit, the ILSX 1355 a GP11. It's the former IAIS 485 (history before that is a bit foggy) and was recently repainted at Horicon. |

So they ended up getting five units from IAIS, they also have IAIS 400, 403, 468 & 495 Another addition is the former ConAgra unit from Hastings an SP rebuilt SW900E. Wonder what they are going to do with all this new power? After checking my updated ILS roster the IAIS 495 has become ILSX 1354, they still have enough room to squeeze the remaining IAIS units into the 135X series so we will need to keep tabs on new road numbers up in Holt. |

Lots of recent additions for these guys which is always good to see. Looks like the ConAgra unit is now ILSX 923. Haven't seen photos of 1355 yet - does anyone have link to photos by chance? |

i was going to link my pic of the 923 I shot on tuesday in Holt, but once again the Archives is down. maybe tomorow I can get it to work. found it, 923. http://brahamfireman.rrpicturearchives. ... id=1478576 I shot the 1354 also. http://brahamfireman.rrpicturearchives. ... id=1478577 unfortunetly there new facility faces directly north and south and the only way to get south of them was to walk down a snowmobile track, so I shot from the road. |
