hi all, how much traffic is up at the Northern Pacific Center up there in Brainerd? My family owns a cabin up on Gull Lake and I was just wondering because i hear them every day but i can never manage to see them. |

You'll see lots of coal... and thats about it. Midwest Energy - MERC in Superior dumps lots of coal trains. You can expect around 4-6 coal trains daily - and just as many coal empties. Other traffic on the line is pretty limited with only the Brainerd local and occasional extras (grain) to run through. With the coal action, the lines does stay pretty busy. |

Speaking of the Brainerd Local, around what time of day does it run, or is the timing pretty haphazard? |
