About 1400hours CP sent out #182 (CP 8638, CP 9682). I know for sure since they were held up by the CAM Speck coal train. They apologized to the DS, and the DS apologized for letting the 293 hold up the 182... it was a touchy-feely moment. At any rate, maybe two hours later the 182 was ready to depart. This time another CP 4400 and CP 6042 led a 5900 ft train. Vlad and I commented about how long all the trains were today. This second train was extremely long and I figured the CP split up the 182 into two trains. Would, and if so, how often does the CP send out two of the same train? |

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I can confirm the long trains. I was back at Park Jct early this morning hoping to catch the Amtrak coming in when this guy came by. All 6 engines were chugging along and it may have been the longest train I have ever seen. I wish I would have counted cars. Never did see the Amtrak, it may have come in the Midway Sub or was very late. |

The trains I saw didn't have 6 locomotives. Even the S-SEALPC seemed extra long. |
