I saw CP8218 a GP9u pulling a track inspection train on the St. Paul Sub today. Very weird number board. Also caught two other trains in about 20 minutes trackside today. A East bound CP coal train and a West bound BNSF grain. Pics to follow. UPDATE: First train through was the CP coal train, I couldn't get the weeds out of my way so I went for a bit of an artsy shot. Then a shot of the upcoming meet Then the BNSF that had been holding came down the hill, you can still see the tail end of the coal train That coal train had stopped half way up the hill when I heard the Geometry train come to stop behind me. Not bad for 20 minutes trackside, I wish every outing produced trains at that rate. |
