Why are these so rare in MN? The last time I caught one was in March or April. Does anyone know what train IDs they are assigned to most often and when the train departs? Thanks in advance. |

I too have been wondering where they all are. By the looks of RP.net, all the MACs must be in Canada. The last I saw one was 2004 . But that doesn't mean they haven't been through. |

On April 23rd, I saw one on a single-unit stack train. I have seen a number of CEFX SD90s since then. |

I've only seen one CEFX SD9043MAC. There must be some reason to the absence of these beasts in the area. |

I worked for CP for 7 months last year, 5 of which were on the road, and I was only in 2 SD90's both of which were the dark red CEFX units, 999's or lower numbers. Fredrick your right, they like to keep em on the stacks, for some odd reason, as both times was what I was in. the High priority CP trains are all 198EB, 199WB, 189EB, 188WB etc. I used to have numbers on how many loco's CP owned but I no longer do, but I do recall they didnt have many SD90's |
