De-railment at st. paul yard... right by the old yard office (right by where the old east and old west meet by the 43 pocket.) No pics.. happened ealry sunday morning. When i got there around 1ish hultcher was on-seen re-railing. I will get some more info... when i can. |

Saw video on the 5 or 6 pm Channel 5 news tonight. No leaking of tank car that derailed. No disruption to mainline traffic. |

I didnt see the news story.. but did they relate it to soft rail? that is what some one said. |

I would guess with the rain and the still frozen ground deeper down that the surface got a little to loose causing the track to dip and derail the car, sounds as if the car remaind upright and did not tip or get punctured by anything next to the track which is good no matter what it holds. |

Channel 4 news mentioned something about "soft rail" and the frost coming out of the ground etc. |
