Lease power has been making it's appearance in the area again. Seems that there are a number of ex-BN sd40's... ex-UP sd40's... UP GE's....and the CIT SD9043MAC's back. Sure seems like they are regretting giving up all those 60's...At least it makes the consists a little more interesting to run. |

Wow! Those maroon MACs were a treat several years ago when they were a fairly regular sight. |

I saw a CEFX 9043 last week in Superior in the BNSF yard, another nice find was an Ex-Soo SD60 CEFX 6005 second of two units on a Superior coal load. |
