I'm going to in St. Cloud in a couple of weeks (August 10th) and I'd like to get some shots of Northern Lines. I'm wondering if somebody has a location of where they tie-up on weekends. Thanks much!

I have found them on the north side of the St. Cloud yard near the National Guard building on the weekends. Watch out you dont want those guys pointing their guns at ya,

I see their address listed as 2015 Sixth Street North. Am I correct that this is near their tie-up area? Sorry, I'm just not very familiar with St. Cloud as I should be.

I found them in their resting, place last Sunday. They were separated and about a half block from each other. I was able to get shots of both locos and the caboose. I'm happy to report no guns were leveled at me either.

Hi DanT, We here at Northern Lines Railway don't carry guns to work, but we do have big pipe wrenches for those unruly railfans. thanks nlrengineer.
