what a day, I think I got everything from coffee cups to rolling stock. Lots and lots of people out to see the show. I remember the days when they held these shows in the mini malls, cant do that nowadays. Hope all of you had a chance to get out and enjoy the event. |

What a day! Railfanned for 5 or so hours in the morning, then went to the show for 4 hours, spent more then a few bucks I can tell you. We then headed for the Casino where I more then made up for the show money I spent. Only bum deal of the day is I had 5 of 6 photo's rejected, but resubmitted this evening so we'll see. Hope every one had as much fun at the show as I did. |

It was a great day that's for sure. I see you mentioned coffee cups from the show, do you collect them? Any and all RR mugs or just Milwaukee Road stuff? I'm into those little shot glasses, not sure why as I don't drink, I just like em I guess. I ran into railfan Robert Ball down at pigseye this morning and he offered some interesting thoughts on rp.net that I think I'll post when I have more time. I did manage to get two more accepted and my goal is 50% so I consider the day a success. |

I collect just about anything related to railroading in the upper mid west. I cant even put a number on the amount of coffee mugs, shot glasses, shirts and hats I have on the shelving around my "male crisis center". I stoped at pig's eye in the afternoon surprised as to how full the lot was. Did you happen to see the CP track evaluation train that was sitting by the servicing racks? |

I like that "Male crisis center"!!! I think I'll make a sign to hang on the office door. Yea I know what you mean, after the show and on the way to the casino we stopped down there only to find 6 or so cars already there. I did see that track inspection train earlier in the day. I could not get in a good position for a solid picture. I did shoot one half a** shot. Now that RP.net has accepted the amount there going to take. I'll get the rest posted on Webshots. |
