With limited time trackside I have compiled some of the highlights from the past few weeks, Railfanning in southern MN and beyond I ended up all over the place Here is the CRGX 103 in Split Rock, One of two Ex-CR SW1200 this one in Jasper, I also snagged a so, so shot of the Ex-ATSF GP9u The other Ex-CR SW1200 in Miloma, Looking for the Ex-Soo GP9’s I found them hiding just off the road in New Ulm, A few more highs where the CHSX CF7 in Ruthton and an Ex-SP SD9 in Maynard Finding the Harvestland GP10 was easy just off the highway in Springfield, Being board with MN I ventured into Iowa and found this guy just north of Sioux City, And another CAGX unit in Nebraska, Back on the local scene was a sighting of the MNNR 80 sitting in New Brighton just begging for its picture to be taken And what happens with Kids, fireworks, dry grass and of course the BNSF grove yard in the background, Spending Sunday Railfanning with the Firemen at Uni we started the day with sun and temps around 90 but ended the day with clouds, rain and hail some of the highlights was seeing Amtrak 8 around noon, And an unpatched SSW GP60 in the consist of CP-292 It’s been a busy few weeks but squeezing some rail time in has been on the agenda, I hope others have had some time to get out be safe out there and I’ll see ya trackside, MRM |

Good looking stuff Matt, glad to see someones been out. I didn't think MNNR 80 was even in use, that would have been a nice treat to run across. |
