I was able to be trackside the last couple of days and here are the PICS A few items of interest: A freshly painted GP38-2 working the Midway yard was my fav of the day. All the shots from Park Jct are from a new location for me. Two shots of the TC&W, one a grab shot through the front windshield so its a little blurry but I still liked it. The newly aquired ILSX unit was 4th in line. The other shot is my new presonally taken favorite of this RR. 3 for 3 at Railpics also, for me thats pretty impressive. Hope you enjoy X |

Wow, you really were all over. Places rarely visited. There were some great shots in there. |

Just goes to show you dont have to make camp next to the rails to see some action, way to go on the RP pics and even though I missed out on the heads up on Friday I did manage to catch the CRYX cars yesterday. Thanks X |

Did anyone catch the ILSX 1389 leading? It's lead the St. Paul Turn twice but I missed it both times. |

Mike, do you know why they would have been running light along the Sheppard road shot at 5 or 6 Friday evening? I was quite surprised to see them. |

If they are making a pickup at Western Ave. they will leave their train east of Robert St. and go light power to Western Ave. Then they shove their UP cars back to Robert St. and then pull it all up Shortline Hill. If you didn't see their outbound CP train sitting east of Robert St., then I don't know what was going on. If not, I can look in the CPs AEI history and figure it out if you want. |

Well that makes sense, I guess I didn't notice thier outbound CP train but I suspect it was probably sitting there. |

xray, I like the picture of that Z-train with the St. Paul skyline backdrop. Also impressive is the stop on Hwy-61! |

I've added 11 new shots to this album. My favorite is the sunset shot even though its a slightly unbalanced photo. |

Seven new shots in the Album today with the most interesting being these mid train helpers. Anyone ever seen these used in Minnesota before? This train was actually stopped at Como ave and if you look close at the PIC of the NS engine you can see their using sand to get it going. I couldn't hang around long enough to see if there was a DPU on the train as I got shagged out by St. Paul's finest. Not sure why as I've sat there many times before and I don't believe it's RR property. |

The train ahead stalled so the V train pushed them up the hill. Strange that they didn't cut off their train, but they must of had a high HPT. |
