For the TCR forum crew who has been up to the Twin Ports and have lived through the hours of agony waiting for a train to cross I manage to have a little luck while traveling on the Lake Superior & Mississippi RR the sound of a horn in the distance caught my ear Even though I did not get the shot I wanted for now it is a minor victory. And here is a shot as we passed under the bridge At least we have proof that the trains do cross this bridge |

Trains cross that bridge quite often - maybe 15-20 a day. So the track down below is used for excursions? |

Thats the spot, the tracks on the MN side are the ones we where on. the tracks continue south from the bridge about 2 miles, there is a run around track to move the power from one end to the other. It was pretty cool running under the bridge while a train was crossing above. |
