Well, on Monday i went biking with my friend. It started out slow, but we caught the WC on the hill up to New Brighton ( thats always our main objective ) and then continued to NorthTown. Saw a couple SD40-2's switching, so we headed for Humboldt. Nothing there either So we went to eat at MC D's. We went back to NorthTown and then it got busy. BNSF 7035 comes into the yard with 2 other units. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=267472 After 2 minutes another in bound come by with 3 GEEPS! I GP9 or something, 1418, then a GP9 rebuild BOOSTER! With a GP39M trailing. Then We see a great array of trains here, you can see the booster. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=267476 A lot of my pics blurred today so i cant show all of them We were ready to leave when we saw 2 SOO Line SD60's coming over the NorthTown bridge, so we catch them on the foley. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=267469 We saw a GE of some sort waiting at the other end of Shoreham, and i didnt see a beaver ! So i catch my first ES44. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=267470 Hope you enjoyed. Alec |

I saw the 1418 a few days earlier dropping off at Dayton's Bluff. But the 1700 - quite a catch to say the least. I wonder if it will stay in the area a bit for transfers and such. And a B8-39! |
