Driving across Wisconsin to the U.P. of Michigan there is not much to see as the railroads of old are long gone and the ROW has given way to snow lovers, I did manage to find a few relics of the good ol days along they way. DM&IR Caboose C-6 sits along the highway in Poplar Soo Line 950 a 2-10-0 sits silent in Ashland Wisconsin must love there old trains as two weeks ago in Lady smith I snagged the Soo Line 1011 a 2-8-2 and the Soo 500 an FP7 An old depot in Ironwood Michigan and strange to see a CN truck in Ironwood seeing as the tracks are long gone Here are the shots from Ladysmith from a few weeks back http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 873&nseq=0 |
