yep thats it. just as 180th curves north you can park and walk to the bridge its very accessable and a dead end road so very little traffic. also note the shadow on the river, it gives a good idea of how high and artistic the bridge is. now if somone just had a small boat........ |

Not that this is relevant now but duriing the heyday of the WC a good friend of mine had his 32 foot boat at the boomsite marina. Twice a year we used to camp on a small island right by the bridge. 10+ trains a day was fairly common and the engineers used to wave to us as they went by. I had PICS but sad to say I have not been able to find them and fear they are gone forever, probably lost in some move somewhere. |
