Cabless units have always been my favorite of ALL locos' I caught my second B-unit within a year on Saturday while heading into Cambridge. it was southbound on the Hinckley Sub, a GP-60B, # 341 just north of Cambridge. These are VERY rare up here, as I have only seen three as far back as I can remember. so I figured I would see if there are any picures of it on RP.net http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=89749 This is what I found a few pictures of it from Tehachapi Ca. and a few from IL. I thought it was pretty cool that this thing has been from CA. to Superior, and who knows where else. Anyone else ever searched some of there favorite loco's to see where they have been??? |

No I never actually searched to see where an engine has been, but now I'm kinda wondering why? That sounds like a great idea. Thanks |

I guess that my fav loco type would have been the BN's tiger striped GP50's and the old C-30's. FYI there are 23 units in that class so keep a good look out for them I saw two within 10 min at pigs eye yard back in October. |

I have only seen a in our area. Almost every photo I post, I click on the locomotive number. A couple of Z-trains I shot where the same train photographed in the Chicago area and/or La Crosse and then in Washington. |

I am still waiting for a few of the ATSF SD45-2B units, I think I may have a long wait. |

I'm not sure if they're in mainline service anymore. The one I saw was in the Northtown yard. |
