Beautiful day today. So I took full advantage and went into work early knowing I'd be out early. First off I hit Northtown Yard I've never been there before so I was keen to take a look. I perched myself on the St Anthony Parkway Bridge. Now there's a structure with character. heres a selection of stuff that passed before me http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160431.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160444.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160456.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160448.jpg The it was back to Maple Grove to pick up my race packet for tomorrows half marathon. Then I headed out to Elk River to try my luck there... Nice ACe to start with http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160462.jpg Now I'm starting to get a little bored with C-44's http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160479.jpg But I did pull off a fairly decent wedgie http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160480.jpg and there was a KCS unit in the rear http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160481.jpg To finish off there was yet another c-44 leading out an SD40 and an Oakway SD60 http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 160485.jpg |

While my wife was garden shopping over at 101 market in Otsego I had her drop me off in Elk River on the off chance I might grab a couple of shots. This is the result http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 170494.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307 ... 170496.jpg Maybe the shots aren't technically perfect. But they sure as heck will do for me at the moment Ian |
