Yes, Hudson is considered part of the Twin Cities Metro Area. In any event, I had a great day watching trains today. I made it to Dayton's Bluff around 7:00. Here are photographic highlights: - - (Finally!) - More coming soon... Also, I ran into a really helpful guy, I think his name was Dave Patrekus (sp?). He had a big pile of useful information to tell me... if I can remember half of it, I should be in pretty good shape. I made it over to Northtown and didn't see the Vomit Bonnet... oh well. |

Thanks for the Kudos guys... the Barge shot and geometry car are the number 2 and number 3 shots of the day on railpictures.net... It'd be awesome if I got a shot on the front page... would be the first time it ever happened. This shot of a also got accepted. |

Aaron I think your holds the most value since you got what is normally a rejected photo, the going away shot, and made it a POTW. I like all of them though. |

I think there are more than enough lovely angles to capture in this town for everyone - all of you guys have been demonstrating that for quite a while (and getting me excited to move back). I had a good day so far as taking pictures went, but it was just going out and capturing angles that you all had shot before. That said, I certainly appreciate the comments and recognition - I do take my photography pretty seriously. |
