Isnt the M21B a hybrid?
you know, batteries and 2 or 3 smaller prime movers?
and that begs another question:
Would they still be called prime movers?

While sitting at Uni for the first time in what seamed like months the action was pretty slow and uneventful until CP292 started out of Shoreham and I caught sight of these two units, The MPEX 244 is a MP21B Demo unit and the only one out on the rails The other RPRX 5407 is RP20BD one of 6 currently roaming the country, I was able to track these two units to CP's Alyth yard in Calgary but do not know where they are heading from here, kinda neat and sure made the day worth while. |

No not a Hybrid, but a multi engine genset prototype.
