Well Luck was with me this morning.... Millwaukeeroadmatt had told me to keep an eye out for a warbonnet. I followed an NS unit to hinckley, why I dont know I hate the catfish, and just as I was crossing the tracks for the last time heading home I caught these two..... they're still the atypical Dash9 but the paint scheme is what I was after. |

How often do the GP60Ms get up your way? I think many, if not most, are the SF war bonnets. The GALSUP/SUPGAL is always good for interesting power. |

Good catch, I have to say the Warbonnet is one of my personal favorites. Is there a fair amount of traffic going through Hinkley? I wouldn't mind taking a trip up there if there was enough action. |

well. three's the charm I guess. heard a 4703 North on the scanner, had to literaly RUN, and drive 70 to catch my third in one day.... and I still ended up 15 miles north of home before I caught it for a semi decent pick. http://community.webshots.com/photo/515 ... 506loLEXL# All of these were Dash9's. I think there pretty rare up here actualy as I hardly ever catch them, mostly Dash9's in H2 paint and SD70Macs on the coal and tac trains. Manifest seem to have a good mix of SD40's and lease power. |
