MRM, Peter Dahlberg and I went down to Galesburg, IL this weekend. Here's a little gem from the trip leading a coal empty west on the Ottumwa Sub (Galesburg, IL- Lincoln, NE). Yes, she's headed to Powder River Basin...unreal!

I could also post a trip report, but just know there's a train every 1.5 minutes somewhere in this town with 5 subdivisions terminating, originating, or running through. 6 Amtraks per day, a large yard with any kind of power you'd like, and my favorite: the endless string of BNSF Z-trains doing 70mph. on the Chillicotthe Sub. :D
