BNSF 968 and SD40-2 (both H1s) rolled into Pig's Eye with DODX flat cars and numerous flats with camo trucks and other military equipment. I didn't catch the ID of this train. Anyone see it or know its origin/dest? Pictures will come in a bit. |

East bound? I saw DODX flat cars west bound through Northtown last week empty. I know that the Guard is heading to Kosov next week via Ft. Campbell KY. |

Maybe Camp Ripley, but it's hard to say. Steve |

The west-bounds last week I would say yes, dont know what direction they where going today but if they where east-boound I would guess they came from there too. |

I should have included that the train was westbound. As someone at Pig's Eye pointed out, the items were support in nature. No Humvees or tanks or anything armored. On one I did notice Ft. Leonard. Another rail fan thought maybe they were on the spring trek up to Alaska for the Guard. There were about 30 cars of the stuff. The rest of the train was general freight rolling stock. |
