| Post subject: | 10,000 Locomotive Roster Shots!!! |
Ok so maybe I spend way to much time by the tracks but wow I never thought I would hit this milestone. I started shooting trains on film about four years ago and two years ago I set a goal to reach 10,000 roster shots by 2010, standing in Galesburg last year with Don and Steve I remarked that I did not think I would make the goal when Steve said "hay 2010 is 12 months long" so with that the goal was tweeked to get 10,000 by the end of 2010. The quest ended on Monday with the passing of the WC transfer by my camera. Nothing special with the photo just your run of the mill roster shot but to me it is gold! Now I can sit back, relax and get ready for our new conductor to arrive in December. Thanks to all my TCR buddies who have spent many hours and hundreds of miles of railfanning with me I will always enjoy the memories! Fear not my loyal blog readers several blogs in the works detailing my recent journey on the Empire Builder and of course a blog about my epic quest for 10,000 roster shots!
