As I was telling a few of the members track side this afternoon I'm planning on chasing the IC&E/DM&E in southern MN and northern IA in a few weeks. Anyone know of some good locations to seek out? Any hints would be great. |

Head east on MN14. Two years ago we camped south of Marshall in the Camden state park (the BNSF shoots through it)(6-10 trains/day). We headed south on MN23, then east on 14 on our way home. The DME meets the BNSF down there. You hit Tracy and follow the DME across into New Ulm. Tracy has a railroad museum with some rolling stock and a larger garden-sized rideable train. |
