Any day trackside is a good day. I like the forecast for this week and even better this weekend. Warm and some sun. |

xrayguy! Are you kidding, jeez, those guys have something wrong with them. Must of not had a good childhood! I loved that pic. Well, better luck next time. Sadly with railpics you cant ever get creative, because its never to their standards. Alec |

Great shots xrayguy... What was your fav rejected for? I think it is a very interesting shot myself... My favorite from this weekend was: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=138381 Wish I could have stayed out longer but the Jeep sprung a leak so I had to head home and work on it!! I seem to have it at bay at the moment.... ~Chris |

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Chris I really like your Amtrak PIC, I've always liked that location but have never been there in the morning to catch the proper sun. Good catch!! My "fav" pic was rejected for "High Sun" which I did find a bit odd for March in Minnesota, but that's one I can't always catch on my own when critiqueing which pics I submitt. Aaron has asked that we not get into a RP rejection discussions to much, so I apoligize for starting this string with my earlier post. I'll be trackside this weekend so look for the Green Chev Pickup and maybe we'll see ya! |

I was just curious... I've got tons of rejections too but haven't seen that one yet. I agree with Aaron in not ranting about rp.net rejections. I'm just trying to get better at photography and find the rejections more of a learning experience than anything. If you see an older Green Jeep Cherokee that smells slightly of radiator fluid, that's me! |

I am very jealous that all of you guys got out last weekend. I was working. Of course the sun came out. I will hopefully be out this Sunday. Off topic: Regarding RP.net, you are free to discuss the site and rejections. Don't get me wrong. I haven't seen any discussions descend into flame wars towards the site (and I don't suspect to with the current members here). Constructive criticism goes a long way to understanding what photos may get accepted there. I will let those know, who I think have gone too far. |
