Well I haven't posted a trip update in quite a few weeks, so I though I'd share some of the photo's. I've been wanting to dable in black and white photo's for a while so I tried this one on the . It was into the sun and of course going away, but all in all I like it. Sometimes there just aren't any trains to shoot, so I look for other railroad related items like this and this , which was guarding a bridge in New Richmond Wisconsin. Sorry to say all the railroads listed are now gone, not sure about the bridge company. I jogged over to Osceola on the way home hoping to get a sunny shot of the MNTX tour train engines but they were way up the line so I took this of their passenger car. Then while your sitting at University I'm sure most of you have seen the new guarding each end of the loop track coming out of Shoreham. Then I ran across the odd and definitley tagged BN Caboose. Thinking a may never again see a rare engine or consist these came rolling past. According to the Diesel Shop, the Santa Fe's are SD40u's of which there are only 16 and several are in storage. Then to have a SD9 sandwiched in between made me count this as a rare find. Don't anyone burst my bubble now OK. Here's a better shot of the . I do manage to get a shot or two accepted over there on Railpictures: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=149460 http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=149461 and my latest which I think will be my own personal new favorite shot that I've taken. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=151425 OK I've exhausted my typing skills as well as cut and paste, as always there are more shots under the "Recent Photo's" at the Web shots page. Hope you enjoy |

Great sign. How many of those railroads still exist. The b/w 261 is awesome. As Ween, converting backlit shots to b/w can work in your favor. There is great contrast in it. Now it is my time to ask if you tried that one on RP.net? |

Yea I don't care for the heat either, but time trackside is sometimes hard to come by, so I take it when I can get it. |
