Wow not expecting to see anything out of the norm today, I was suprised to see CITX 142 SD70M-2 four deep on the LAUGAL. Checking the diesel shop this is the first of three SD70M-2's that the CIT group has purchased and the only one delivered todate. BTW CITX is a sister company to CEFX. I think the info they have on the Diesel Shop is wrong. Those 3 engines where the 3 EMD Demo's, as show in the photo below: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=152174 I didn't see any other SD70M-2's on there, so those must be the ones. MN Railroader |

I think you have a SD90 there - I want to say that might have been one of the red ones that roamed CP for a bit... |

The SD9043MAC's in the 100 series are CEFX the SD70M-2 142 is CITX they are both part of the CIT finincal group so that is why they are painted with the same paint scheme, I almost made the same mistake while ID'ing the pic. |

That's right, I forgot about them being CEFX. And that notched nose should have given it away that is was a SD70! |
