I ran across down at Pigseye on my way home last night. Unfortunately the sun was already long gone. I was hoping to catch it this morning with some sun, but no luck with that. |

Thats a great catch. That unit is part of the Federal railroad adminstration's office of safety assurance and compliance. It is a track geometry car according to their web site this unit along with one more are traveling around the country checking the rails. I was unable to gain access to the route map so keep your fingers crossed it may be back. |

T16 (locomotive-towed car) is supposed to be back up in the near future. I'm not sure on the locations, but I do know Winona is on the list. Helps to be very good friends with the "driver/supervisor" on the FRA car! |
