But nevertheless a few good catches. Heres some links from todays action at Northtown and Humboldt. Started out at New Brighton, where I caught the WC leaving for Humboldt. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758934 After this I made my way down to Northtown for a bit. Found the SD39 bringing a few cars down to the other end. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758942 Then one of the many GEVOs of the day crawls past CP university. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758960 After this a autorack train pulls into the yard with a pair of GEs. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758945 After this I glanced under the SOO Bridge and saw what looked like a single SD40 sitting by the main. I made my way over there and found the catch of the day. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758947 After this Douglas and I were off towards Humboldt to hopefully catch the Dresser Turn. We found the power, but he wasnt ready to go. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758961 After I got back from Humboldt, I was promptly met with a UP Superior bound train with an ex UP SD40-2 trailing. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758948 Shortly after this, lights come into view, and I thought it was a Conrail SD60I at first, but a closer look told me it was a GE model. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758950 After this yet more action on the North Runner. This time a GP60 leads. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758951 In a matter of 20 minutes a Z train met us with 3 Pumpkins (the middle was an ES44DC) and then this CP-BN Transfer showed up. http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758958 http://wctransfer.rrpicturearchives.net ... ?id=758953 The only thing this day didnt bring much of was sun, but I was quite happy with the results regardless. Hope you enjoyed the shots. Alec |

I really like your composition of the autorack train. Too bad it wasn't sunny. |
