On April 6th I finally got a shot I had been waiting to get for about 7 months. Before this the sun was too far to the south. You could say it still is for this picture, but I wasn't bothered too much since I'd been waiting so long. 
On May 17th I returned to the same spot to again photograph the TC&W in good light. When I pulled up I noticed something didn't quite look right. Didn't take long for me to figure it out.

Showed my little guy and he said "thats easy dad two locomotives"  I guess the plan is to keep the head house but the silos are history. Great vantage point for the pics Mike.

I knew some of the elevators were coming down, but never really payed too much attention to which ones. I was pretty surprised when I came back the 2nd time and I feel lucky to have gotten a photo of the entire elevator. Thanks for the nice comments guys! |
