Matt, you mentiond to me that some of your dads, I believe, photo's of the GN were rejected from RP.net. What was the reason? This one is a great Pic. I was thinking maybe it was rejected because of size. This one is listed on your Web shots as 1352X988. You might try and resize to 800X600 Pixels and see if they'll accept it. Do you know where this was taken? Any comments from the rest of the group on this photo? I think its GREAT!!!!! Actually all the GN pics you have posted there are really cool. If the group has not yet checked these out, you should |

Great shots. I know the 'posting other people's' photos, even relatives, is a point of concern at RP.net. Copyright is the problem. Others have created new ids and named them xxxx[the collection of....]. Anyway, that is between MRM and RP.net. Definitely resize them if you try again. |

MRM, I know a guy that collects old railroad pics, more specificaly the old line from Hugo to Hinckley, does your dad have ANY pics from this area??? I am sure he would be interested in any of your pics actualy, would you like me to contact him, if your interested in selling any??? Also, do you have ANY idea where this pic is from??? http://community.webshots.com/photo/548 ... 4700GPOeYR for some odd reason that white silo with no roof looks VERY VERY familiar, I just can pick it out. |

Sell, dont think so but thanks for the offer. I believe Orono or Medina area west side of Hennepin county. I'm currently cleaning up some photos from the 40's that where taken while my Grandfather worked for the mail service (I think thats what they called it back than) on the mail trains from the Mpls, St paul area to Kansas City. Rail cars made from wood and real live steam locomotives. |
